SMS terms

These terms cover text messages sent by Benson in connection with the early-access waitlist. By giving your mobile number and ticking the consent box on our signup form, you agree to these terms.

Programme description

Benson operates one text programme: Benson Early Access. We send a one-time verification code when you join the waitlist to confirm you own the number, and later a small number of messages about your early-access invitation and the programme’s status. We do not send advertising for other companies and we do not sell your number.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. In practice: one verification code per signup attempt, plus occasional invitation and status messages — typically no more than a few per month.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Benson does not charge you for these messages; your mobile carrier may, according to your plan.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages from this programme.

To rejoin, reply START, YES or UNSTOP, or sign up again on our website. You will receive one message confirming you are opted in.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and may depend on your device, plan and network.

Eligibility and consent

This programme is available on mobile numbers in the United States and Canada. You must be the account holder or have the account holder’s permission for the number you submit, and be old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Your number and your privacy

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. We share your number only with the messaging provider that delivers these texts on our behalf, and only so that they can be delivered. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes

We may update these SMS terms as the programme develops. The version published here applies to messages sent after its effective date.
