Privacy Policy
Effective 19 September 2026. Operated by Tell Benson Inc.
This policy explains what Tell Benson Inc. collects when you join the Benson early-access waitlist, why, and what you can do about it. Benson itself is not yet available: joining the waitlist does not create an account or give you access to an assistant.
What we collect
- Your mobile phone number and the country you selected.
- The exact consent wording you agreed to, and the date and time you agreed to it.
- Whether your number has been verified, and when.
- Whether you have opted out, and when.
- A short campaign label if you arrived from a marketing link, and basic technical request data used to prevent abuse of the signup form.
We do not ask for your name, email address, date of birth or payment details, and we do not buy contact lists.
Why we collect it
To confirm you own the number you gave us, to contact you once when an early-access invitation is available, to honour opt-outs, and to stop automated abuse of the signup form. We do not use your number for advertising and we do not use it to train AI models.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
We do not sell your personal information. We share your number only with the service providers that make the waitlist work, and only to the extent they need it:
- Twilio — sends and checks your verification code.
- Render — hosts the website and the database where your record is stored.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of people using the service.
How your number is stored
Records are held in a database that is not publicly reachable, and access to the waitlist is restricted to authorised people at Tell Benson Inc.. Verification codes are handled by Twilio and are never stored by us. The identifiers we use to enforce abuse limits are one-way digests, not your number or your IP address.
Retention
We keep waitlist records while the early-access programme is running. If you opt out, we keep the minimum record needed to make sure we do not message you again. You can ask us to delete your record entirely at any time.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out of texts.
- Opting out suppresses messaging. Submitting the signup form again does not undo it — we will not quietly re-enrol a number that has opted out.
- Ask us for a copy of your record, or to delete it, by contacting support@tellbenson.com.
Children
The waitlist is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has joined, contact us and we will remove the record.
Changes
We will update this policy as Benson develops, and the version published here always applies. Material changes affecting how we use your number will be announced before they take effect.
No guarantee
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, availability, or any particular timing.
